Minneapolis-based artist, Ahnali Tran, composes critical works based on her Southeast Asian American perspective through a mixed-race lens. She grew up in North Minneapolis, where she became immersed in racial and environmental activism.

 

Tran's family proudly owns and operates the Dow Art Gallery in St. Paul. She has worked with exhibitions and local artists since 2013. She currently is a student at Perpich Center for Arts Education and is a gallery director in the school's gallery.
